Caption: FLIGHT
Eighth grader Jalen Whitley trucks the defense as he powers to the rim in an attempt to score for his team. Both teams kept the game very exciting and kept the audience anticipating each team’s next play.
About: This caption was easy to write because I was not just a photographer for the game, but a fan who enjoyed the game. The team truly kept me waiting for the next play, and made the game enjoyable to watch, partially because of the lead we had on the other team because of our team'stalent.

Caption: REACH FOR THE SKIES
Eighth grader Christopher Bacon jumps higher than the opposition to score points for the Lions. He played a hard game and helped fight for the team’s win.
About: This caption seems like it is pointing out the obvious, but in actuality Christopher's jump was higher than anyone expected and astounded the crowd. I was impressed by his hustle not only in this play, but during the whole game, because he was in a lot.

Caption: During halftime the Lions cheerleaders entertained the crowd with 3 cheers to music. All the girls looked happy to be leading the crowd in school spirit.
About: One thing about cheerleaders is that they always appear excited when cheering on a team, and that's what most people notice. I decided to testify to that truth with this caption. The girls truly were beaming when they led the crowd in these cheers.

Caption: The freshman players and coaches celebrate their win against the seniors. The seniors walked away from the field disappointed. The freshman, upon receiving the trophy, broke it apart and began passing parts around to as many people as possible.
About: This photo only deservesd the best caption, and even though it only states what is happening in the picture, it enlightens you about something you wouldn't know about until you read it: the breaking of the trophy.
